About Us
Bharathiyar Tamil Palli is a volunteer-based organization and serving people from Maryland to teach tamil language to children in and around Cockeysville,Maryland USA.
Bharathiyar Tamil Palli is a charitable, non-profit, organization established in Cockeysville Maryland, primarily to give opportunity for the children to learn Tamil language and get them introduced to the Tamil Culture and history.
For the past 4 years, volunteers have been dedicating their time and efforts in teaching children in this area. Classes have been held in private homes, Churches and other venues. As the demand for Tamil instruction has grown the school has also grown.
We Volunteers ensure to provide Tamil education with the following goals
- Fun learning Environment
- Establish Great co ordination among Volunteer to provide best way of teaching Tamil
- Emphasis on Tamil culture and history to the children
- Transparent Decision Making that helps parents and volunteers to work together on their children
In addition to Tamil education, our volunteers have been working with the Greater Washington Tamil Sangam (in the Washington DC metro area) for the children to participate in Tamil cultural activities. Also Bharathiyar Tamil palli organizes various cultural and educational competitions for the Tamil students during mid and annual year functions.
